I predict that Muslims will be exempted on request from going through the body scanners out of fear of “offending them”.
This should pose no problem. On refusing to enter the body scanner, they should be escorted to a tiny room where an inspector will be snapping on latex gloves in preparation for a full body search and pat down to include a body cavity search. That should meet the stringent demands of security and help speed them on their way to their destination instead of on their way to Allah and the 72 virgins.
