Thank you.

After every kind of three-ring circus you can name, I finally got the family Doc, who’d been out of town, and she finally shook the gross pathology report loose— no cause has been determined yet.

The know it wasn’t an aneurysm, stroke, or heart attack.

She- a cardiac surgeon— speculates an arrhythmia that caused Emily’s heart to just stop, but she emphasizes that it is speculation— she just doesn’t know for sure.

I looked it up.....

Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS)
In around 1 in every 20 cases of sudden cardiac death - up to 500 every year in the UK - no cause can be found, despite examination of the heart by an expert cardiac pathologist. The cause of death is therefore described as ‘unascertainable’. This is called Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome, or SADS.

SADS...very fitting name for it. :-(

This probably means she suffered very little, if at all.

*HUGS*
