"We have no trust at all that Israel can conduct an objective probe."
Turkey's Foreign Ministry said Wednesday it has formed a committee to look into Israel's raid on a Gaza-bound aid ship.
The panel headed by the foreign and justice ministers will "assess the national and international dimensions" of the raid and prepare the ground for a possible international investigation.
It said the committee, which includes maritime officials, has met twice since it was formed Monday.
Turkey was quick to dismiss the internal Israeli committee set up on Monday and set to meet for the first time on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Ya'acov Terkel.
Turkey said that Israel could not be impartial, with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu saying, We have no trust at all that Israel can conduct an objective investigation.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reportedly dispatched an envoy to Washington to discuss the matter with US President Barack Obama, amid concern that Ankara might sever diplomatic ties with Israel over the matter.

Oh, you mean THAT Turkey.
I’d give turkey more credit. I believe they will enlist a good sized body of neutral people for this international commission.
The delegates will be from Iran, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Indonesia, Tripoli, France and Sweden, and Mexico, Pakistan and (maybe) England.
