Sarah & Hillary smiling? Rasmussen reports Obama’s approval numbers plummet to historic low of 42%

Rasmussen Reports, which has been tracking President Obama’s job approval numbers ever since he became the President, released shocking numbers today.

President Obama’s job approval has dropped to historic low of 42%.

Yes, only 42% of American voters say they approve of President Obama’s performance. An overwhelming majority of Americans, 57% of them, disapprove of the job President Obama is doing.

Yet another index that Rasmussen has been tracking is called the Approval Index. This is the difference between the percentage of voters who “Strongly Approve” of the job the President is doing, and the percentage of voters who “Strongly Disapprove” of the job the President is doing.

Rasmussen found that only 24% of American voters “Strongly Approve” of his job, while 44% “Strongly Disapprove”. This gives Obama a huge negative approval index of -20.

These numbers should be extremely worrisome to President Obama.

These numbers should be music to the ears of Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton.

Sarah Palin is fast emerging as the “Heir to Ronald Reagan”, and is one of the top favorites to win the 2012 Republican nomination. Conservatives see her as the “Next Ronald Regan”. Sarah Palin should be fastening her seat belts, given the downward spiral of Obama’s job numbers; she stands a good chance to move to the White House in 2012.

The Clintons may be rejoicing too, looking at Obama’s pathetic approval numbers. You never know, Hillary may challenge Obama in 2012 Democratic primaries. After all, Hillary lost the 2008 Presidential bid by a razor thin margin. After all, even Republicans would agree that Hillary would have made a better President than “Incompetent, Inexperienced Chicago Thug” Obama, any day, and any night.

Has a sitting president ever been defeated in the primaries?

In individual primaries, yes, but in the modern era not enough were won to take the nomination away from the incumbent.

Kennedy won several primaries against Carter in individual states.

That said, McCarthy just got close to Johnson in New Hampshire and scared him out of the race. Right after New Hampshire Robert Kennedy got in the race and reportedly Johnson's poll numbers fell through the floor, so he pulled out.

We had a saying in the military: “I’d lay a mile of commo wire through a minefield just to hear her fart.”

When I see an Obama bumpersticker, I always look over to see if the person actually looks like a moron.

42% approve?

That still means that 42% of our nation are hopelessly retarded imbeciles.

That’s like your kid coming home from school and telling you that he/she got a 58 on a really important test.

Then it hits you... your kid is hopelessly STUPID.
That’s what that tells me.
Our nation is lost.

“We are not talking about Hillary, that would be creepy.”

So eating Cap’n Crunch shat upon by Saint Sarah is less creepy than doing so with Hillary?

THis is what makes people frightened of the Palinistas. They’re creepy.

Yeah Bob, I invented that saying. I also conceived the idea of the Internet, the fax machine and the automobile.

Does your insurance cover mental hygiene? If so, I recommend partaking of that opportunity.

Don’t know. But I’m pretty certain it doesn’t cover the ill effects of eating Cap’n Crunch laden with feces.

Bob J -- let me guess. You haven't read Palin's book.

Am I correct?

You seem to be laboring under the mistaken impression that Palin created, cultivated, and pursued comparisons of herself with Reagan. You accuse her of "stealing the legacy of giants" and challenge her to run on her own record.

I've read her book, I've read her concise and short Facebook blurbs, and I've read what others -- fans and foes -- have said about her. She has always run on her own record and any comparisons to Reagan have only ever been made by others, such as Michael Reagan.

I think you're full of Captain Crunch.

"She might not have to. The bastard might just declare he won’t run again."

That would require a modicum of humility.

You call it a photo op, I’d call it a meeting. BTW, which third party nobody are you supporting for 2012?
