Glen Campbell played on God knows how many sessions for so many different artists...very underrated. I think they wanted to make him a Beach Boy at one time.
I know if you can believe it. He was good at picking talent too.
Also, one of the most underrated and talented people who didn’t receive as much credit as due was Stephen Bruton, now deceased. Heck of a song writer and hell of a banjo player. He helped write the songs on Crazy Heart along with that other guy who knows talent, TBone. They grew up together. Not only was Bruton talented; he was one of the nicest guys you would ever want to know. Just ask anyone from his hometown.
