WASHINGTON (AP) - The Obama administration says a climate and energy bill being pushed in the Senate would cost American households 22 to 40 cents a day, less than the cost of a postage stamp.
The Environmental Protection Agency said in a new analysis released Tuesday that a bill sponsored by Sens. John Kerry and Joe Lieberman would cost households an average of $79 to $146 per year.

Businesses will close or move their operations out of the country. Then the left (and some here) will whine about how they can't buy US-built goods and how those evil companies are to blame.
Amen. Replace "out of the country" with "to Galt's Gulch" and it's paging Ayn Rand, paging Ayn Rand - Atlas Shrugged on line 1 . . .

If this passes, any hope that this nation might recover economically is over True, but it will probably be game over even if it doesn't pass. The EPA is now taking away state control (e.g. the Texas refinery and various coal plants and they will continue to squeeze them until there are no more incentives to produce power and gasoline. The Senate including my two stupid rat Senators voted to let the EPA do this in defiance of the clean air act (which allows states to self regulate). The EPA may "stop" doing this if the Senate passes an onerous enough cap and tax bill, but probably won't stop regardless.

If BO sent the money to Idi Amine (sp?), Idi Amine would use it to fatten up the child then eat it.
