We have a national debt of $13 trillion. The "intellectuals" want to spend more money. The Tea Partyers shout "NO, YOU WILL DESTROY OUR COUNTRY" The "intellectuals" can't see their point. The only explanation for this inability is that they are really stupid people who think they are smart.
Intellectuals are all about ideology...not running anything!
Perhaps instead of shouting, “NO YOU WILL DESTROY OUR COUNTRY,” they should explain why they believe that is what will happen.
Intellectuals, as they’re called in the article, probably want to hear reasons, rather than get shouted at.
But that’s like anybody, really.
