Unless you are a Leftist media propagandist, why would it be “surprising” if the recovery falters, given that we are currently immersed in a sea change toward socialism and punishing achievement and merit?

As for the Feds, they want their guarranteed interest rates that they type on fiat paper and fiat terms, much like a lying judge or president will use his pen to sign whatever he wants, unlimitedly.
The media is now turning to Shariah and the government is now supporting directly flaming religions like Islam, because doing otherwise would be criticizing Obama and crashing this house of cards.
Why the businesses keep being needy and cooperating with this incoming disaster can only be explained by the Fed Reserve’s own desperate business keeping which keeps the manufacturing of cash and bogus “unlimited budget” search and “solutions”.
They all should be fired.

If they are smart, they’ll sit down shut up, get some tax relief going and do nothing else. Everytime they try to fix it, they make it worse.
Just tell the toadies in the liberal state run “media” to continue telling the people living in this country to go back to sleep, everything is fine. So far, 50% are still buying it.
