South Carolina Democratic candidate Vic Rawl announced Monday hell lodge a protest against the June 8 primary vote that handed the little-known Alvin Greene the Democratic nomination for Senate.
Citing a cloud hanging over the result, Rawl said his 18-percentage-point loss to Greene who showed few signs of running an operational campaign warrants further investigation in order to ensure confidence in the states election system.
There is a cloud over South Carolina, that affects all of our people, Democrats and Republicans, white and African-American alike. At this point, the people of our state do not have the basic confidence that their vote will be counted, Rawl said.
The strange circumstances surrounding Tuesdays vote require a thorough investigation. For better or worse, this protest process is the only platform currently available for that investigation, he continued.
The former lawmaker outlined slightly different reasons for the protest than were originally offered by his campaign.

ROFLMAO! That’s funny.
A woman on another board I frequent calls herself “Lightening Bug”. She hasn’t yet figured out yet what she did that was wrong, even after I practically told her right out loud that it was really Lightning Bug.
I was reading another thread on this from this morning to my wife. She came up with the idea that Mr. Greene, due to his POSSIBLE lack of mental acuity, may be the choice of the “powers that be” because he can be easily controlled.
That’s her opinion. Frankly (even though I love my wife), it sounds a little too ‘tin-foil hat’ to me. However, given the Dims penchant for vote fraud, obfuscation, and their exceeding desire to get power at any cost...you never know.
It’ll be interesting, in any case.
Did the NEW invisible ACORN go to far!?!? Oh the Horror!!
The race card was played by GREENE's backers and now. ... FREEPERS rooting for a race argument. :(
Ugly thread
Racists!!! Trying to keep the black man down. Shame on them.
I said this before, so again: This is like going to the zoo only to find two rats arguing about a piece of cheese while an 800# Gorilla in the room (named Jim DeMint) watches them. What folly ... who cares?
There are only even a few counties where whites actually voted in the Dem primary.
Rawls lost because blacks voted for the black and it says everything that he lost in Charleston County which was an all black primary. Rawls has been around Charleston for years. They actually know who he is. He still almost lost them. It says all that needs to be said.
Avacado....put “6.02x10^23” in your tagline and just let people squirm.
There is a cloud over South Carolina, that affects all of our people, Democrats and Republicans, white and African-American alike.”
Hey Rawls, the stupidity is on your side of the aisle. Leave the Republicans out of it.
I think it’s a good idea to support this young idealistic man. It will help create chaos within the democratic machine, and bring to light the hypocrisy that exists in the democratic machine.
LOL! I forgot about Avogadro’s number. Good one! See my tag.
Actually, I think the GOP should take credit for this and claim that they are supportive of blacks being elected to high office.
Nice. Lazamataz salutes your silliness.
Would that be you lost by 20%.
Dems are the turds in the bowl.

Don’t you mean FR?
The infighting we always hope for in the DemonRat Machine has time and again proven they will not police their own, no matter the circumstances. The rule of law seems secondary to power within their party.
We MUST NOT leave them to decide their own fate on this or for that matter anything, ever again.
