I feel sorry for you. Now you can feel sorry for me as mine is Butterfield who is in lock step with Obama.

...just by riling up a member of Congress...

Riled up by simply asking whether the Congressman supports the Obama agenda? Another insulting moment brought to you by the pro-Dem MSM.

Let me see if I understand this correctly.

The MSM goes ape-sh_t for days over a non-existent spitting incident related to a tea party activist — with no evidence whatsoever to corroborate this manufactured incident.

In contrast, the victim is villified when the assaultant is a Democratic member of Congress and the evidence is available on tape.

The Congressman made his mistake by putting his hands on the student.

From that moment he was in the wrong.

He could have ignored them.

Must mean he supports the Obama agenda.

Yes, that's about right. How DARE a serf ask the new royalty such a question. "Off with his head!"

If the Congressman was going to or returning from a session in Congress than doesn’t he have immunity?

I think the immunity extends only to actions on the House or Senate floor. Otherwise, the jerk from Buffalo would not have resigned.

He cannot be arrested while on the way to a session of congress. But a warrant for his arrest can be issued and the cops can pick him up as soon as congress ends its session. The founding fathers put the law in place to prevent the president having opponents arrested right before a key vote, and then dropping the charges before a trial, but after it was too late for them to vote on the bill. The English king had done that several times.

“Amazing the WaPo wants to identify an assault victim, and ignore the CRIME!”

that’s not amazing; its alarming...because the implication is occult federal retribution....can you say IRS ladies and gentlemen...?

This is what the guy did who roughed up the reporter during the Scott Brown election. Made movements that could have been deemed supportive if pulled out of context.

One - when will these public figures learn about video phones?

Two - it wasn’t a fuzzy picture, very clear indeed and very damning.

No matter how much of a good face the Po tries to put on this, it was horrible behavior from the congress critter. Horrible.

He’d better be in a dang safe district.

“Must mean he supports the Obama agenda.”

Why would any Dem be ashamed to admit support of the Obama Agenda? They MUST know it is another criminal Chicago piece of thuggery.

Wasn’t the WaPo guy, Weigel, the one who came out in defense of stalker McGinnis when he moved next door to the Palins in Wasila?

Butterfield is my Congressman too. He is such a joke.

I attended his health care “town hall” meeting back in mid 2009. It was a complete farce.

Notice how, with the full video linked by the Drudge Report going viral, the Washington Post chooses to ONLY post the video of the camera that was knocked down so that the Washington Post readers cannot see, with their own eyes, Congressman Etheridge committing physical acts that meet the legal definition of simple assault.

All the Washington Post readers are allowed to witness is a black screen with the audio still on.

"Nothing to see here, folks. Move along. If The Washington Post doesn't want you to see something, you ain't seeing it."

I’m not a lawyer, but I think that a hug might be worse for him...I think that unwanted intimate contact triggers other statutes.

I finally saw the video. The victim, Etheridge is NOT.

Plus, he apologized.

Yes they will! Breitbart’s got another
one .. the victim IS the student.
Etheridge acted deranged .. I’m sure
they’ll come up with stress, illness,
family problems, etc. to excuse him.

Thank God it’s Andrew. He won’t stand for
another ACORN soap opera or Landrieu farce
.. he’s fearless.
