"McQueen, who lives in Rochester, Mich., said he joined the Tea Party after getting laid off from a job marketing automobile exterior mirrors overseas. He thought about flying an American flag upside down at rallies a signal of nautical distress that some Tea Party members use to show political distress but he thought it would seem disrespectful to veterans. He considered the Gadsden flag, he said, but it seemed a symbol of anger. Also, the Gadsden flags he saw were made in China.
Instead, he came up with his own design, and ordered a batch from a company in Humble, Texas. Since then, he said, hes gone through more than 10,000 flags, filling orders from all 50 states."
This is great. Lose job, start your own business while boosting American freedom!
This is a great story—is there any way to see his flag?
Yes, the Gadsden flag is a “symbol of anger”.
And we’re RIGHTFULLY angry.
What is the Boston Globe smoking, exactly...
YES - go to the link for a photo of this flag:
Photographs of Scott Browns victory party at the Park Plaza captured rows of people waving an unorthodox flag: a Betsy Ross design, but with a big white Roman numeral II in the middle of the ring of stars.
This one is new, a flag deliberately designed last year to invoke American Revolution, the Sequel. Its kind of like Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III, said Jeff McQueen, who designed the flags.
Is it just me, or does the "II" mean something... like Rev II?
Obama wouldn’t recognize the American flag if it came up and bit him in the ass.
He has no idea about what America stands for, represents or is all about.
He is as foreign to American ideas and ideals as a neanderthal man was toward enlightenment and knowledge.

(blush)... cursory reading misses key points sometimes...

Thanks!
POW/MIA flags, maybe? It's pretty common for Rolling Thunder and other vets groups to have those at any kind of demonstration.

We fly the Gasden flag, it has much more meaning imo that this guys flag. His II with the 13 stars, like the second time around. I prefer Don’t tread on me, a message to the current administration.
I like the Bennington Flag.

Yes. I had a long conversation with Mr. McQueen at the TP Express Tour in Albany, NY and purchased one of his flags. On the way to the party, I noticed a tricked out new Mustang with the license plate “McQueen”. Sure enough, it was his.
He’s a nice guy with strong Patriotic views that deserves to be supported by us all. Buy his flag and support American industry if you get a chance.
He needs to get his design up on cafe press or zazzle.
I’d sport that as a bumper sticker.
Sorry about that.
