(clip)
Suddenly he discussed the sexiness of Margaret Thatcher. The way he described Thatcher and how the press treated the "Iron Lady," you'd think he was talking about Sarah Palin. Even the radio host thought so. However, Hitchens said Palin was contrary to his description of Thatcher. He said Palin has no charisma. I find that hard to believe.
I don't get his anti-Palin sentiment. Personally, I find Thatcher and Palin to be quite similar.
See and hear for yourself what Hitchens said:

Hitchens, Unlike Simon Cowell, has no redeeming qualities. He's all smarm and no talent or perception.

I don’t get why we’re supposed to have any sort of respect or reverence for Mr. Hitchens. To me he sounds more like a liberal who “gets it right” on one or two issues but completely misses the mark on everything else, as opposed to a conservative who has some minor liberal qualities.

I’ve heard of men with fetishes like that. Maybe they were dropped on their heads.

I find it interesting that he was attracted to Margaret Thatcher. Too bad that interviewer had to dangle the easy target for the left of Sarah Palin in front of him and too bad Hitchens had to take the bait and make an obscene comment about her. Hitchens is very smart in some respects and a moron in many others.

Chris Hitchens is LESS sexier than Pee Wee Herman.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head, by Jove!
Hitch is basically pretty damned brilliant...in that smarmy elitist way. He is pretty much an alien to the average Joe...just like the dude in the WH.
So, of course, Hitch couldn’t recognize one of the sexiest women in public life.

I wasn’t aware that Lady Thatcher & Sarah Palin were going to coffee klatch over all things feminine.

I do have a little affection for Hitch after I saw a clip of him on the Daily Show, or Maher or Colbert...I don't remember which. They're all pretty much alike...
Hitch gave an opinion that was not PC, maybe he was supporting fighting terror, and the audience started howling and hooting and booing...
You know how the audiences are on the "comedy" channel, like stoned barking seals promised a fish.
Hitch mocked the audience, shot them the bird!! I loved it.

It takes a little moxie to confront a moron audience on somebody else's show, especially these "fake news" shows that cater to idiots who might actually be dangerous.
Anyway, it is memorable!
