This could make some sense to focus on the “local” aspects - except for the fact that the entire country is in a shambles DUE TO THE MARXISTS POLICIES THAT THE DEMS HAVE PUT IN PLACE IN DC.

Its kid-of difficult to run on a more “local rights and issues” platform when your entire agenda has been executed around a Statists Dream Utopia.

The Election is still 18 weeks away. Their Unemployment Benefits will have already expired by then.

And how are you going to “create” those jobs? There is NO MORE MONEY! The people are starting to see through the ruse and they are beginning to rebel. Wait until you see what happens in New York this week. It is going to be very, VERY ugly....The Gravy Train has derailed.

They're dreaming.
1) A jobs pitch highlights their failure and requires voters to believe the administration that has failed at everything will suddenly get it right.
2) We hear of lots of young voters realizing their future is at stake, so many of those "historic" Obie fans are no longer motivated or switched sides.
3)The gulf oil blame is shifting more to Obama and his inaction, as much as it was to BP initially. Attempts to paint US capitalism won't work with BP. BP isn't on the ballot.
4)The financial outlook will only worsen in coming months.
5)As will anger re: a NY trial for the Sheik.
6)Taxes will be increasing.
7)Doctors leaving, hospitals closing, insurance plans cancelled will continue up to election day. Big government isn't working in the gulf, and more will realize it won't work with health care, where it really has in impact on our lives.

I could go on, but virtually everything Obama does is a failure and repulsive to a growing majority of Americans. They're still screwed. And it worsens every day. We all know it's difficult to maintain a level of rage for too long, while trying to live a life and do a job. We'll crank it up again in the fall. We're just sitting back taking names....and notes. We can see Nov. 2 from here and it still looks good.

In fact, given that Obie is far and away the most anti-American president we've ever had, or could imagine, I think the huge Republican gains predicted will be larger than everyone thought. We'll defund all the crap, repeal it when Obie's gone.

That’s been my feelings as well.

Honestly, this election could be a double-edged sword. If republicans win, Obama has his scapegoat for 2012. If democrats win, one, we should be scared as this can only mean dirty tricks were used (there’s no honest way they can gain seats after what’s happened), and two, they’ll see it as a blank check and will probably go full steam ahead.

Short of prayer to Almighty God, THAT may be the only way out of this downward spiral toward Communism: a complete economic meltdown with the requisite ending of entitlements.

We aren’t just talking welfare queens either. Most of academia, firefighters and other government workers, unions and the like need a complete overhaul.
