Kinda reminds me of bankruptcy proceedings. Everybody lining up to be priority claimants to see who gets paid 1st out of a too small pot of assets.

Same in NY. The state legislators finally agreed on a budget.

The unions rushed to the judges and the whole plan was overturned.

Seems clear that the activist judges are now in control of our destiny.

Must be nice having a job where you don't have to actually have to accomplish anything, but you have judicially mandated employment for life that not even a Governor can touch and mandatory yearly raises with platinum benefits

Example of the communists Court that is running the State. We the people and our elected Administration no longer have a voice since the Courts decide what we can or can not do and our voice is null.

just had the experience of shopping around for a new worker’s comp carrier - I get the impression that CA businesses are bailing left and right from the state run insurance. Wonder what they will do when they have no more customers? Hire more workers???
