UPDATE: Palin says Didier doesn't play political games
Tri City Herald ^ | 6/11/10 | staff

Sarah Palin made an unannounced visit to the Tri-Cities on Friday included a meeting with U.S. Senate candidate Clint Didier.

The former vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor said she and her family were on the way home to Alaska via RV and used the stop to visit with aunts, uncles and cousins in the Tri-Cities.

But she had also hoped to get a chance to meet Didier, for whom she had tweeted support on May 20.

“It is such an honor to get to lend support to Clint,” Palin said. “He has the right game plan for America. We need more people like Clint.”

Didier, a Connell farmer and former pro football player, is one of 14 candidates who are challenging incumbent Democrat Patty Murray in the Aug. 17 primary for one of Washington’s two Senate seats.

Asked why she chose to support Didier rather than two-time Republican gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi, Palin cited Didier's of gamesmanship as a driving factor.

“He knew he had something to offer this great state and our country. He didn’t wait to see what the line-up would look like,” she said.

“He didn’t play the political games that so many others do.”

Palin said she was impressed that Didier wasn’t seeking glory or a spotlight by running — he’s already had that through his football career, which included playing on the winning team in two Super Bowls.

I’m going with my girl, Sarah’s, endorsement. But, realistically pissant, what are his chances against Dino Rossi?

If the calls into the local talking heads is any indication, quite good.

I think McCain may have troubles aplenty.

“So, John...where’s that $1.1 Million dollars a criminal gave your that you promised to donate to charity but haven’t?”

This may yet prove to be an interesting political year!

Has anyone tried to triangulate all the endorsing she has done/is doing? There HAS to be reason and rhyme to it. I can feel it, I just don’t have the time to research it. She is doing this with the mad calculations of Brahe and I want to know what the plan is.

All I know is that now she is pulling for a Redskin, so that makes her okay in my book!

Rossi should have run for governor again, that is the position he really wants anyway; Rossi is quote as saying that he does not want to leave Washington State for D.C.. I’m really sorry he got into the race because it muddies the water for real candidates that WANT to be there and make a difference like Didier. I’m voting for Didier in the primary, I hope many others do as well. I would like to see Rossi in the Governor chair - bad move.

And some of you people here say the RINO-endorsing (didja forget Curly Fiorina already?) Palin doesn’t play political games, too. Lies and the lying liars who tell them?

p.s. Where’s the Tri-Cities?

Lies and the lying liars who tell them - the people herein who try to claim that St. Sarah’s more than a politician, or above politics. Campaigned for McCain, endorsed Fiorini, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, etc.

They just got a little better. Now, let's see if Rossi saunters to the left..

...and in your case, IS a duck. Better look up what a RINO actually is before tossing the term around haphazardly as you like to do.

RINO: Fiorina, McCain, etc. Both Palin-endorsed/supported. I looked it up. How’s my research?

Except you have no idea what a RINO is. Tired old argument. You’re a RINO.

Add this one to the list of RINOs she is supporing:

http://www.kosterforcongress.com/
Cecile Bledsoe
Terry Branstad
Joe Miller
Clint Didier
Susana Martinez
Nikki Haley
Tom Emmer
Tim Burns
Vaughn Ward
Adam Kinzinger
Allen West
Sean Duffy
Rand Paul
Rick Perry
Michele Bachmann
Doug Hoffman
Saxby Chambliss
John Kasich

Your research is not very complete and your understanding of politics apparently isn’t as comprehensive as you think it is.

So The Sarah only plays the politician and supports the RINO once in a while? Only when it’s in her best interest to do so? Only if there’s something in it for her? Like the way my friend’s wife only cheats once in a while? Most of the time she’s lovingly faithful, but ... sometimes she’s like Sarah with certain of the RINO tribe.

Guess my understanding of politics truly isn’t as comprehensive as you think I think it is. Or maybe I’m just not smart enough to understand why Sarah has to sometimes compromise in somewhat the same way that Gingrich compromised some of his last, few remaining principles when he supported NY RINO Dem Scozzafava? I’m not seeing the big picture? Is that it?
