If Iran goes nuclear, Saudi Arabia becomes Iran’s bit**.
That’s the last thing Saudi Arabia needs or wants.
Pure self interest. Nothing more, nothing less.

//Israel would require more than one mission to seriously cripple or destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities, many of which are underground in fortified strongholds or in mobile labs. This wouldn’t be as easy as taking out the Iraqi facility.//
Thanks, because I have been saying that all along and no one would listen. Also F-16’s and F-15’s do not have the lift capability for the size of bunker buster they would need to penetrate these facilities IMO. The B-52 and the B-1 could do it but they’ll need stealth and means the B-2. Of course they dont have anything like that.

This data was undoubtedly released to tell the Iranians that it is getting serious and to stop enriching uranium or things are going to get a whole lot rougher for them.

they cant attack Iran themselves without angering the other Muslim countries.
How will the house of Saud explain the use of airspace if Israel DOES do it?
Israel ought to just do it today, except like USMR said, can they get back safely?

Won’t disagree with you on this point. I wouldn’t trust a raghead with anything. Their own religion allows them to lie as long as it in advancement of their perverted religion.

I wouldn’t trust the Saudis as far as I could throw them. Wouldn’t surprise me if the Israelis had to fight them on the return trip.

I agree, what’s that we always say about “loose lips sinking ships?” If this was a topic of conversation at my base it would never be on any public social network of any kind.

Saudi wants Iran cut down a few notches, but otoh could they resist the opportunity to stab Israel in the back and attack the aircraft on the return leg from Iran???
sure, the IAF would kick some butt except that the pilots might be tired and the Saudis would be happy if they shot down a few IAF planes just for PR cred in the world of Islamo-fascists.....
not saying Israel won’t be “allowed” to do the strikes, just that the IAF should be ready for and expecting anything, including treachery, which is typical for the Islamo-fascist death cult.

Whats in it for Saudi Arabia?
Iran wants control of the Arabian Gulf and the oil supplies Saudi has.

Or Israel can wait and let the Saudis do it for them. Remember Iran is fighting in Saudi territory with insurgents.

Friends with the only country in the Mid-East that does not want to overthrow the Saudi royalty. No matter what they may say publicly, Saudi Arabia has always been reasonable with Israel.
Jordan and Egypt too. Turkey until recently had a good working relationship with Israel. Israel was/is working on a deal that involves upgrading their M60's (several hundred) and developing their new tank.
The recent problems with Turkey and the Gaza "flotilla" probably surprised many in Israel. But then Turkey has been cozying up to the Russians lately too.
