No they're not.
Wong Kim Ark does not apply, and was bad law anyway.
Invasion and colonization is not a civil right.
Hospitals in Arizona have been promoting “anchor baby” tourism by advertising birth packages in Mexico. Want to get your pata in the door? Have your baby on American soil. Here’s the story. “Tucson Medical Center birth package raises questions”

Outstanding!
The tide is turning in this country against BO’s/BS’s socialist/marxist regime.
If the parents are illegal then why not say that any children they produce, regardless of where they poop them out at, are citizens of the country that the parents originated from. Not the country that the kid was born in?
Makes total sense to say that the children are citizens of the country their parents came from. Without the parents they can’t live on their own and are the responsibility of the parents until they reach adulthood. So therefore they are citizens of the country their parents are from.
Let AZ and TX duke it out for the capital location of freedom while the rest of the country gives up it’s freedoms willingly.
” and thus American citizens according to the U.S. Constitution “
No, they’re not. The drafter of the 14th Am. was clear it did not apply to children of non-nationals born on U.S. soil.
The only reason nobody is taking this to court is they are scared that the Supreme Court will simply rewrite the Constitution, like they rewrote it on abortion.
I’m waiting for the next immigration target to be the illegal immigrant named President Barack Obama!
At least we're not targeting them while they are still in the womb the way the DemonRATS do. Unlike the DemocRATS, we don't want to kill them. We just want them to go home. We can't afford them anymore. Arizona is broke.
Thank God. Send them right back where they belong with mom and dad
Right On, Right ON!!!!
No, the idea is to block illegal invaders who have refused the legal immigration process the cynical use of their own child as an adminisrative mechanism to legitimize their criminality.
They need to make it retro...
Bravo, Arizona.
Go for it.
America is cheering you on.
AP. The Pravda of the US.
The other 56 states need to follow Arizonas lead and enact the same laws, which already exist.
I think in the long run this is a great idea, Congress should have the power to restrict birthright citizenship to children of citizens and permanent residents of the US. See http://www.heritage.org/Research/Reports/2005/12/Birthright-Citizenship-and-the-Constitution
However there are many issues more important and less derisive in the short run. Many people who have a superficial understanding of the issues will see this in a very negative light. WE SHOULD LOOK TO OTHER ISSUES FIRST. This will be used against us in the 2010 election and if I was the opposition I would hope that this gets nationwide attention.
Only if the parents are legal residents or citizens, illegals do not have the right for their babies to be born as citizens.
Ping!
