BOSTON (AP) -- An undocumented Harvard University student is facing deportation to Mexico after being detained by immigration authorities at a Texas airport, the student said Friday.

Eric Balderas, 19, who just completed his first year at Harvard, said he was detained Monday by immigration authorities when he tried to board a plane from his hometown of San Antonio to Boston using a consulate card from Mexico and his student ID.

I am sick of reading these birther stories. He’s the president, we can’t deport him.

Too damned bad. Tough luck, kid; you should have made sure you had all your paperwork in proper order, first.

The socialist media can never call people who are in the U.S. illegally as illegal aliens.

The article says his “hometown” is San Antonio. That was in Texas, probably still is. These smart reporters really confuse me.

He is occupying a place at Harvard that was denied an American student. Harvard discriminated against the native born and the legal residents by admitting him. Now he is crying. Boo. Hoo. Fuera de aqui!

If his “home town” was San Antonio, he wouldn’t need a mexican passport. He would have a U.S. Driver’s License.

He can finish up at the University of Tijuana. He’s an illegal alien. More than likely, he has stolen some American’s chance at attending Harvard and that sucks.

I don’t think I’ll hold my breath on this one. I just don’t see them deporting him. If they don’t deport convicted murderers and rapists then everyone else has a “free pass”.

***”Eric Balderas has already demonstrated the discipline and work ethic required for rigorous university work, and has, like so many of our undergraduates, expressed an interest in making a difference in the world,” said Christine Heenan, Harvard’s vice president of public affairs and communications.***

Fine, let him make a difference in Mexico.
