As with any RINO, give them enough time and they'll give you enough reasons.
Rintense, I think we do ourselves a disfavor by making some claims. We reduce the serious nature of some people’s actions by comparing them to others, or others to them.
McCain is without a doubt the worst example of selling out our cause I seen in my lifetime. I have documented only part of what he has been up to. A lot of it isn’t even available for us to source any longer. I am aware of some things I can’t even put on that list any longer, because the documents I have reviewed that reference them have since been pulled from the internet.
On the other hand, we have a guy that has done some things you don’t like, that give you pause, reason for concern. You have stated that if given time he would do just what McCain has. We don’t know that. His activity has caused you concern, but he hasn’t done those things. McCain actually has.
Are they on an equal footing? Of course not.
Teenagers and even adults make mistakes, poor choices, unacceptable acts. That doesn’t mean that each of them will turn into John McCain (if you will).
I have said I don’t want to support Huckabee. I mean it. I still can’t reasonably extrapolate out that he would be what McCain is.
McCain exceeds that level of broad unsupported assumption.
