Absolutely right. IF McStain manages to prevail in the upcoming August primary, conservatives should take a page from the ‘Rat playbook usually reserved for GOP primaries, and vote for McCain’s opponent in November. The choice will be between a new ‘Rat (whoever is the ‘Rat candidate) and McCain, who is nothing more than a ‘Rat slinking around with an ‘R’ after his name, when in fact he is a ‘Rat by any other name.
McCain has to go. The sonuvabitch is a dagger pointed at the jugular vein of conservatives, and it is now a matter of survival.
Jim, if at any time in the past 14 years or so, you ever had any doubts about creating Free Republic, or the amount of work it took to keep it going, this post at #517 should put it to rest.
It won’t make the front page of the Washington Times, and it won’t cost a Dan Rather media type his job, but it is a living testament to the quality of many of the posters who spend time here.
It will take you a while to read, but it will be worth it, I assure you. I saved it to print out, and keep for posterity.

Very well documented, that's for sure.
However, the misstatements and smears of JD could have been shot down a tad easier (this is NOT a criticism) by just going to the ACU's (American Conservative Union) website and looking at JD's votes for 2006 - or any year - as I just did.
For the 25 House Bills(1) that the ACU lists as 'important' in 2006, JD voted the 'correct way' on 24 of the 25 Bills(2).McInsane's votes are also shown under the senate search and in 2006 he got a 'RINO approved' 65. And, when looking at McLame's votes its easy to see when he was up for reelection or running for POTUS. In those years his numbers go up to the 80's (gotta fool the knuckle draggers). Then afterwards he goes down to the 60's again. And the only thing that keeps McNuts Lifetime Rating 'high' is due to his longevity in the senate.Accordingly, for 2006 JD's ACU Rating was a 96.
And in 2005 JD's ACU Rating was a perfect 100!
And just for reference, over JD's 12 years in the House, JD's Lifetime ACU Rating is a whopping 97.56!
Okay, have to run now. But a very good job of documentation 'DoughtyOne'.
And I'd save that post to notepad, or word, for future posting.
