From watching McCain its pretty clear he changes what he supports and what he doesn't depending on the winds of the politics of the day. McCain might support any number of things if the winds change. I don't support McCain never cared for the man much. JD is no better he is another big spending insider politician.
Out of the 2 IMO McCain will give conservatives more power in DC if we elect a conservative into leadership position in the WH in 2012. McCain will once again go along with the political winds. He will be a very powerful asset in the Senate. JD will be a Jr senator form a small state.
I support Gov Palin not McCain. Your trying to equate the two is beyond stupid. they are clearly different and have different policies and ideas. Your failure to grasp that speaks of your lack of logic or willful attempt to bash Palin.

Those who are supporting John McCain have absolutely no idea what the Tea Party is all about. TARP, bailouts, McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, McCain-Liberman, etc.

Hey there dumbo unless you can explain what McCain's vision is and what she was sharing your point is moot. a statement like that is typical political verbiage to show support with a person yet not detail what they are agreeing too or link themselves with the person's policies.
Oh it's no moot point there Professor Hawking, it is much more than 'verbiage' because Sarah Palin has gone out of her way to align herself with McCain's re-election campaign, her support and embrace of his "vision" still stands, and that means she is infected with the RINO-virus, evidenced by her support for the abortionist Carly Fiorina (a McCain crony) in California.
I think perhaps our Founder can explain McCain's "vision" to you, how about it Boss? You might not remember 'unseen1', but here is a recent reminder where he's crowing about Chuck Devore and Chuck Hunter 'going down in flames':

I assure you if Hunter gathered enough national backing to threaten Obama, you clowns would turn against him in a heartbeat. Who’d Hunter endorse when he dropped out?

Oh NO D1, I typed 'Chuck Hunter' instead of DUNCAN Hunter!
Oh jeez, I apologize, I apologize, I apologiiiiize!
You think everyone is gonna start calling me names now like they did to you?
Ooops, too late. LOL

It wasn't that arsehole McCain, that's for sure. But like most of us here on FR, I'm certain that in November 2008, he held his nose like we did, and pulled the lever for the GOP ticket.

Number one, you’re not being honest when you claim not to support McCain. You state you don’t in paragraph one and then tell why you do in paragraph two. And this didn’t even occur to you.
Then you tell me my logic is messed up.
Palin has gifted McCain her support. The man that has done what is linked at the bottom of this page is who she has chosen to support tirelessly for months in Arizona over J.D. Hayworth.
You state that J.D. is no better than John. Okay, I’d like to see a list of what J.D. has done that includes 1/10th the crap McCain has done.
And let’s recall, despite what McCain has done, Palin has tirelessly fought to get him re-elected over the last few months.

You dont endorse someone you dont agree with. True. I suspect that Palin trusts McCain's new conservative facade.

Poor mk, he just needs support from his Pillsbury dough boy clown posse.
I'm sure they'll help you with your anger management.

No thanks.
To: Lakeshark
It’s not a dodge. I can tell you who I voted for, or not. It’s my choice. In this instance it’s instructive to tell you.
I didn’t vote for the presidential slot in 2008.
Neither candidate was even close to being qualified, and they associate with too many of the same people and support too many of the same policies. Those people are the enemies of our nation, and those policies are designed to neuter this nation, make it subservient to international organizations, hamper it with international treaties, or at best prevent it for deciding it’s own best destiny.
I will never vote for an enemy of the United States.

number one I don’t support either Jd or McCain. Out of the two imo MCCain is probably the better choice for long term conservative propects if and only if we elect a conservative into a leadership position in the WH. But understanding that and making a decision based on those thoughts is not the same as supporting him. your faliure to grasp that shows your lack of critcal thinking. I can not defend a lot of McCain’s positions, I do not agree with him on a number of issues but I still understand he is the better choice for conservatives if we elect a conservative to the WH. The two are not mutally exclusive ideas.
Palin has not gifted anything. She was returning a favored owed. Its called loyalty.
Jd voted for medicare part D a trillion dollar boondoggle, he accepted money for the pay to play scheme of Jack ambromoff(sp) to name just two things.

The woman had to have something on the ball to become governor. If she does believe him now, that’s troubling. It would mean he had done a 180. Nah, no way. Even some of his current comments make it clear he hasn’t changed. He slips up once in a while. He is a very good double-talker.
He says just enough to make you think you hear what he’s saying, when he’s actually only alluding to what you thought he said. He’s actually saying something else altogether.
He talks about getting the border under control. Yeah, and his comprehensive immigration reform was just that. It’s still opposed by everyone that knows anything at all about the illegal immigration problem and has been following it for years.

you might be correct. there is no telling esp if we fail to elect a conservative for the WH. I could see McCain trying amnesty with Mitt, Thune, Daniels in charge. I could also see JD voting for bigger government with Mitt, Thune, Daniels in charge.
which goes back to my point its the leadership that matters not the foot soldiers like McCain or JD. conservatives goal should be to get the most conservative leader elected to the positions of leadership so that RINO’s are neutered in Congress. Not to throw out every RINO we have.
attacking Palin is the same as voting for 50 RINO’s in the senate and 200 in the house because without a conservative WH all GOP senators and congresspeople will turn into RINO’s. 2000-2006 showed us that. And as of right now Palin is the only conservative on the national stage.
