That’s my take on it. I’m in no way endorsing Huckabee, because I do have major differences with him. He’s still nowhere near a McCain level traitor to our cause.

If Huckabee had continued as governor and had the same long career as McCain, their records would have been almost identical. Huck's own words in the 2008 debates were proof of his incompetence. And his history in Arkansas backs that up.

As with any RINO, give them enough time and they'll give you enough reasons.

I disagree. I've asked the question “Do you believe Palin has been chosen by God to lead the US and the world at this specific point in time and history” only to get either (crickets) or non sequiter answers.

You need to take a hard look at the people surrounding you...and their beliefs.

McCain is 10 times more deadly than Huckabee. McCain has 4 terms as Senator, has made alliances with the devil in the Democrat Party, and moreover, he is a rich and powerful man.

Rintense, I think we do ourselves a disfavor by making some claims. We reduce the serious nature of some people’s actions by comparing them to others, or others to them.

McCain is without a doubt the worst example of selling out our cause I seen in my lifetime. I have documented only part of what he has been up to. A lot of it isn’t even available for us to source any longer. I am aware of some things I can’t even put on that list any longer, because the documents I have reviewed that reference them have since been pulled from the internet.

On the other hand, we have a guy that has done some things you don’t like, that give you pause, reason for concern. You have stated that if given time he would do just what McCain has. We don’t know that. His activity has caused you concern, but he hasn’t done those things. McCain actually has.

Are they on an equal footing? Of course not.

Teenagers and even adults make mistakes, poor choices, unacceptable acts. That doesn’t mean that each of them will turn into John McCain (if you will).

I have said I don’t want to support Huckabee. I mean it. I still can’t reasonably extrapolate out that he would be what McCain is.

McCain exceeds that level of broad unsupported assumption.

I don’t speak for anyone but myself. My experience has been that when I criticize Palins ACTIONS, NOT OPINION, ACTIONS I get flamed. Also, when a Palin supporter posts something to me which is an obvious bare-faced lie, I tend to get unsettled as well ;-)

One is apt to get a trifle pissed at this after a while.

The AZ voters should be wise to the circumstances, but no doubt votes will swing in McCain’s direction for the generous endorsement Palin donated to the McCain camp.

I’ve been a fan of JD long before this standoff. I hope AZ makes the right decision and selects JD for November.

There is not one single Palin thread that doesn't deteriorate into this sort of ugliness.

What a waste. The rest of the conservative part of the nation likes Palin..all but this forum.
