If Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney decide to run for president in 2012, they'll have some powerful friends in the early states that are key to winning the GOP nomination.
Mike Huckabee? Not so much.
All of it is part of the presidential election fallout from Tuesdays primaries in Iowa and South Carolina, two states so pivotal in the GOP nomination process that even their off-year state elections are carefully examined for their relevance to the next presidential race.
Both Palin and Romney backed the first-place finishers in the high-profile governors races in the two statesformer GOP Gov. Terry Branstad in Iowa and state Rep. Nikki Haley in South Carolinaendorsements that are likely to pay dividends in the event either Republican runs for president in 2012.

Sorry about the links.
“Mike Huckabee? Not so much.”
Thank GOD for that!
((((((( Palin Ping))))))
A snarkless article for Politico. H*ll freezes over.
“Huckabee, on the other hand, bet on the wrong horseshe used his political action committee to invest heavily in the losing campaigns of businessman Bob Vander Plaats in Iowa and Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer in South Carolina, two candidates who finished some distance behind on Tuesday.”
The Huckster is a loser so he backed losers.

Now, if it also said, “Mitt Romney? Not so much.” we would really be talking.
Yep. Now just watch Mittens endorse every candidate Sarah endorses from here on out so he can claim he had something to do with it.
Mitt Romney is a Massachusetts Moderate Democrat, plain and simple.
Well Mittens did endorse Martinez in NM the DAY AFFTER the primary ended.
Palin was instrumental in Martinez’s win. Palin endorsed Martinez the same weekend as the Haley endorsement.
“ll of it is part of the presidential election fallout from Tuesdays primaries in Iowa and South Carolina, two states so pivotal in the GOP nomination process”
Huh? why ? and if they are, what can we do to change it?
That’s what I’ve been saying.....Nikki is a Sarah’s Pink Elephant. S.C. is the third most important after Iowa and New Hampshire....especially for Momentum...Sarah Palin is not dumb and knows exactly what’s she’s doing as far as endorsements are concerned!
Huh?
Didn't Romney back Nikki Haley AFTER she'd taken the lead n the polls due to Sarah Palin’s endorsement and campaign appearance for her?
And exactly where was Romney at when the adultery accusations against Nikki Hailey came up? Good ole Romney was hiding as usual. It was up to the brave and fearless Sarah Palin to forcefully come out and strongly back Nikki Hailey against those accusations.
Hey, Politico, backing someone after they win,and hiding while they are in trouble, is about the most weaselly thing anyone can do. Mitt Romney is so pathetic, and so is the lamestream, Romney shilling Politico.
A lurching GOP is finally awakening to Palin’s grassroots power....
Actually, Romney endorsed Haley before Palin did. But his endorsement didn’t move her numbers like Palin’s endorsement did.

Yes they are.
The irresponsible, lying Huckster got what he deserved.
I did not dispute that. It would be nice to see the irresponsible, lying, huckster Romney get what he deserves also.
Mittens got a just deserts in Utah. He got booed off the stage. Mitt backed Bennett.
