Not to make light of the difficult circumstances that a lot of people are facing, but . . .

Isn't it ALWAYS a "depression" for urban minorities in this country? I mean, aren't the unemployment rates for these groups substantially higher than average even in the best of times?

They can thank the democrats for the economic pain they feel. It will only get worse when the Obama regime allows the Bush tax cuts to expire. The democrat dummies want to stimulate the economy by raising taxes and passing legislation that kills job creation. They must be members of Obama’s Kenyan School Of Economics.

Many of the “Urban Minorities” are “unemployable”.

“Just saw a report on a reliable news source that indicated 92 percent of blacks continue to strongly support Hussein Obama.
Amazing is it not?”

#####

Not at all.

After all, “progressive”, self-hating whites in the dominant media are continually telling them that their plight is completely the result of bigoted caucasians. Not them, and their friends of course, but THOSE OTHER whites: White conservative Christians out in fly-over land.

they don’t seem to care, so long as they can still line up somewhere for a piece of Obama’s stash

The observation is right on target.

So much for hope and change.

Some people think that Obama is screwing up the economy on purpose. I don't know either way but, if he is, he's hurting blacks a lot more than Reagan and the two Bushes did.

Hussein still has a 91% approval rating among blacks, according to Gallup.

Translation: makes no difference. The unemployment rate could be 75%, and he'd still hold sway. Sad, but true.

The REPUBLICAN NATIONAL PARTY needs to be providing a platform for outstanding conservatives out there like Star Parker, Tim Scott, Thomas Sowell, Lloyd Marcus, and Frances Rice, among others.

I know Sowell gets a weekly column, but these good people need to be brought together and show their fellow African Americans that being black DOESN'T MEAN SUPPORTING HUSSEIN!

He’s seen a poking a stick in the eye of the man. They’ve given up hope and take pleasure in Obama messing up others, perhaps making them as miserable as they are. That is the only explaination.

Even the centrist New York Times columnist David Leonhardt concedes the Democrats won't be pushing for massive jobs creation even as unemployment remains the top concern

LOL right what kind of centrist works at the NY Slimes?
