If that’s the case, then as usual, the kids are the only ones to be hurt. And not even the kids involved in the wrong doing, it’s the current crop that pays. Not every athelete gets the star treatment.

In situations like this, athletes in the current program are often given an exemption from the NCAA rule that requires anyone transferring to another NCAA program to sit out for one year.

If I remember correctly, this is exactly what happened when SMU was hit with some serious sanctions about 20+ years back.
