My black friend, a wise older woman, is FURIOUS at Obama. “He used us and is tossing us aside now that he’s got what he wants.’ She cannot be the only one.

Certainly not. But I’d wager she’s in the minority, (no pun intended).

Just kidding. It is how it read. My friends are still towing the line, at least to my face.
A few weeks ago, I overheard an older black women talking to my tax guy - an older black man. She didn't know I was in the other room and let loose her rant about how bad Obama is doing and that he will be "their only black president" and won't get re-elected.
I wonder if this type of discussion is going on in a lot of places when not in "mixed" crowds.
The polling could be the same. They likely know he is an incompetent jerk, but they want to present a united front. That, imho, is a mistake. Whites, Asians and everyone else would respect blacks more, if they would be intellectually honest and open about the failure of this Chicago thug.
