Copenhagen them more like it.They might not want to work with them but if we had a REAL president on the job they would have had no choice but to accepted immediately and even assuming another 7 days to get just ONE properly equipped vessel in place we would have at least 800,000 tons less oil and sludge floating around in the Gulf of Mexico, or on the beaches thereof, today!

......Federal law has also hampered the assistance. The Jones Act, the maritime law that requires all goods be carried in U.S. waters by U.S.-flagged ships, has prevented Dutch ships with spill-fighting equipment from entering U.S. coastal areas.
.....Once again, though, the Jones Act may be getting in the way. American dredging companies, which lack the dike-building expertise of the Dutch, want to do the work themselves, Visser said.....
Sad to say the least when in an emergency such as this.

Yep, Obama would rather destroy BP and probably because it wants to seize its assets like it did with GM, than actually find a solution to the problem.

This is where if the President is involved, and not golfing, vacationing and partying, can immediately say get it done.
