Apple has suffered another embarrassment. A security breach has exposed iPad owners including dozens of CEOs, military officials, and top politicians. Theyand every other buyer of the wireless-enabled tabletcould be vulnerable to spam marketing and malicious hacking.

I guess with Apple now being the big dog the “security by obscurity” method by which they’ve secured their devices is going to fail. I guess running the show is harder than they thought.
The military didn’t issue them, those are “freebies” they gave out to foster more wider spread adoption.
To my knowledge, freebies like that are not allowed for the DoD.
>>>How long until the FR Apple Fanboi club gets here to blame it all on AT&T?
Fact is, it IS AT&T’s fault, not Apple.
Why wasn’t Apple more diligent in its selection of carrier then? Does it not test the security of its carriers for vulnerabilities regarding its devices? Welcome to the big leagues Steve-o.
