68, never been downed in combat, reasons of hurt; right there.

Are their avionics internal, or contracted?

Israel upgraided the F-15s. Also half of the total F-15 kills were made by Israeli pilots, the first using the m-61 20mm cannon. Lebanon is littered with Syrian fighters.

IIRC, Israeli warbirds use Israeli avionics. I am far from an expert, though.
