FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 8, 2010 CONTACT: Levi Russell at (509) 979-6615 or Levi@FrontLineStrat.com THE TRUTH ABOUT TEA PARTY ACTIVITY FOR U.S. SENATE CANDIDATES - NEVADA
(LAS VEGAS) -- On Monday supporters of one of the U.S. Senate candidates asserted to members of the media that not "ALL" tea party activists are backing Sharron Angle in her bid for U.S. Senate in Nevada. And they are correct, Angle merely has the support of the overwhelming majority of tea party activists in the state. The new Las Vegas Review Journal/Mason-Dixon poll queried the supporters of the U.S. Senate candidates about their involvement in the tea party movement. The results reaffirm that Angle has secured the backing of tea party activists like no other candidate on the ballot in today's elections. Here are the results of the poll, as supporters for each campaign were asked if they were active in the tea party movement and you can see which candidate tea party activists are supporting: SHARRON ANGLE: 56% - YES. 27% - NO. SUE LOWDEN: 19% - YES. 24% - NO. DANNY TARKANIAN: 11% - YES. 27% - NO. CHAD CHRISTENSEN: 3% - YES. 3% - NO. JOHN CHACHAS: 3% - YES. 3% - NO.

"Both Sue Lowden and Danny Tarkanian have been supportive of the tea party movement and we sincerely appreciate that. However, it's important to note that Sharron Angle energized tea party activists like no one else in this campaign.
"While some candidates obviously wish to question Sharron Angle's tea party support, this poll is consistent with the results we at the Tea Party Express have found. Angle has become a 'hero' to the tea party movement, and if she is victorious in today's election it will be in large part because of tea party support throughout the state," said Stockton.

Hopefully this posting will clear some of that up. A lot of disinformation and smears have been put out there and have been refuted but not brought to rest because of the misguided passion of some who are pushing their candidates (or no Conservative candidates at all) with vitriolic misrepresentations and attacks on the messengers of the truth.
Those tactics, if successful, will guarantee that Harry Reid will be able to continue to push his agenda as the Senator from Nevada.
Angle’s nomination is just what Harry Reid wants. A weak general election nominee and multiple-race loser.
Reid or Angle, make your choice. Or have you already? There has been a significant amount of "chatter" across Nevada and the nation, and even here at Free Republic concerning Sharron Angle and her run for Senate in Nevada.Hopefully this posting will clear some of that up. You’ve obviously decided you want Reid to win a 4th term, while I want a viable general election candidate who doesn’t have multiple losses in her career. Lowden or Tarkanian for the win in November, or Angle for the lose. That’s the reality.
Syncro-
I’m frankly baffled why the TEA Party Express needs to get into splitting the base in a PRIMARY? Can’t they keep their powder dry and just support the winner? Then there’s the bizarre endorsement of the donkey candidate in Idaho. What’s wrong with the TPX???
We ALL want to defeat Reid.
Mainline GOP does not support Sharron Angle, the majority of Tea Party activists in Nevada do. As well as the TPX.
Neo-Con Republicans? So in other words you are a Code Pink Paulbot?
You never have answered that question.
You can't vote for Lowden and Tarkanian.
But then you don't live in Nevada.
No kidding, because all they have to do is look at her prior losing candidacies and her public behavior after her race for Congress in 2006 to realize she is the weakest possible nominee to face Reid in November. One of the few times when the party is smarter than some of the grassroots activists.
They have supported many candidates across the nation in the primaries.
As well have many tea party organizations.
Stop being disingenuous, a chronic habit with you. I told you either one is acceptable. I also told you which candidate is unacceptable, and that’s the one you’ve been pimping on FR. The one candidate Harry Reid is DYING to face in November. Interesting you seemed to ignore those articles that stated that, can’t deviate from your talking points and slander against those that point out Angle’s losing record.
LOL!
What is your obsession with pimping???
You are one scary guy.
You need some new material. One thing your incessant shilling for Angle reminds me of, and that’s the definition of insanity... running a candidate who loses over and over again and expecting her to win.
LOL, you have been posting the same bile over and over again.
That's good you don't favor any one candidate, so Reid can't use your hateful posts as an example of a supporter of ______ or _________.
Feel free to rebuke my points and list all the races she’s successfully won in the past 5 years. Oh, what ? She hasn’t ? No kidding. Now tell me why Reid doesn’t want to run against her in November. Oh, what ? He does ? No kidding.
Thank you !
It's only fair to ask why.
As I have told you previously, I will support her if she wins the primary. Like others here, I'm just worried that she will be the easiest candidate for Reid to defeat.
I would LOVE to be wrong.
