In response to your points: I never suggested that it was 'conservative to smoke pot'. Tie-dye was also an icon of the 60's. And there is only one drug, whose use and abuse has affected an entire society. That drug is alcohol. Just think of the Indians and 'firewater' or the devastation of Russia from rampant alcoholism.
And you didn't respond to any of my points. Even if you can make a rock-solid case that marijuana harms people, does that mean it should be banned?
