Three Kurdish resistance fighters were killed over the weekend during clashes with Turkish military forces currently occupying Northern Kurdistan (often referred to as South East Turkey). Two of the rebels were killed near Uludere in Sirnak province, close to the border with Iraqi Kurdistan, when soldiers pursued a group of fighters from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) who had allegedly detonated explosives on a road as a military vehicle passed. The blast had failed to claim any casualties.

Needs to be a 3 state solution to the Turkish problem right now. Christian Greater Armenia, Kurdistan, and what little is left for now could still be called Turkey until additional negotiations of land for peace can be worked out with Turkey.
Both areas are occupied lands and that needs to be fixed right now. Turkey needs to be hauled in front of the International War Crimes court for genecide.
There are lots of muslim homelands. Only one jewish homeland.
And lots of arab homelands. Not one kurdish homeland.
Please note here that during the Bush administration (when Israel was more or less aligned with Turkey) most folks here were acalling the Turkish Kurds “terrorists.” Just thought I’d leave I little Orwellian reminder of how quickly loyalities change here.
And the Taliban, al-Queda came from the Afghan resistance to the Soviet invasion which we supplied and applauded.
