As an aside, I always wonder why people breed and own those things. For me, one element of the pleasure of dog ownership is in marveling at the aesthetic construct and clean, powerful lines of the animal. If I had one of those dogs and it got a tick, I would squeeze the dog and take the tick to the vet to make sure it was ok.
