As much as I loathe both Bob Beckel and Helen Thomas (and believe me, I certainly do), I still have to say that the First Amendment was not designed to protect popular speech.....

If we shut her up for saying something that we don't like or agree with (regardless how outrageous), we can't complain when they shut us up for saying things they don't like or agree with (regardless how accurate).

Besides, let them rant. It just exposes them for the angry radicals they really are. Let America see the real face of the White House Press Corps. The more the better.
