While down, I wandered over to Second City Cop, a blog for Chicago police. Found out that an 80 year old Army vet shot a scumbag burglar coming thru his window. The rank and file cops wanted to buy the citizen ammo, dinner at the restaurant of his choice and a bigger pistol.
On another note, some crazy guy in CA threatened Mayor Shortshanks. He’s to be extradited to Chicago. The cops suggested citizens form a welcoming committee when he lands at O’Hare, raise money for his bail and rent a hall for a banquet.
Interesting stuff.

I can verify that it went down right after 6:28pm Sunday. Those were the last posts shown.
Before 10:30pm I tried it for the last time and was able to get right to ‘latest posts’. No where else except latest posts!!
But I still couldn’t post. Strange how latest posts would come up and I could go to each thread from there but latest articles wouldn’t come up at all!
