Great for BP. You can imagine much of this technology has been invented and modified in the last 30 days. This is a victory for capitalistic ingenuity.

Perhaps they learned their lesson in the aftermath of health reform as each passing week brought yet another story of an unintended/unexpected adverse consequence of the bill enacted. I realize this is wishful thinking.

Think of freon..... Liquid to vapor. Same principal here. The gas starts up as liquid, reaches a point where it becomes able to expand and becomes gas which can freeze the hydrates. Or that is my understanding.
its 42’ down there but the ice that forms is methyl hydrate not water ice.
