Iran's Revolutionary Guards are willing to provide a military escort to cargo ships trying to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza, a spokesman for Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was quoted as saying Sunday. The news was carried by Reuters, quoting Iranian news agency Mehr.
"Iran's navy forces are ready to escort the peace flotilla to Gaza with all their powers and capabilities," announced Ali Shirazi, Khamenei's representative inside the Revolutionary Guards.
The report came just a day after Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was reportedly considering personally joining a flotilla to Gaza and offering the support of the Turkish Navy to protect such flotillas from Israeli inspections.

If Israel can intercept a flotilla carrying the PM of Turkey and escorted by the Turkish Navy and the Iranian Republican Guard, let Israel do what must be done and then prepare to defend her homeland...alone. Prayers up for Israel.

Can you recall Saddam’s Husseins’ last days, when he commented that the West would soon come to rue the day that it relieved him from power in the region? He was right. Don’t you long for the “good old days” when Iraq and Iran were giving each other’s jihaadis the quick trip to the 72 virgins? Get away from the MidEast area, and let the different sect of Muslims kill one -another off. A Muslim hates another Muslim of a different sect more than he hates a Christian or Jew, who at least are to be offered conversion or subjugation before they are be killed.

Iran won’t be escorting any ships. They are just out headline hunting and trying to sound tough like Turkey. All a lot of bloviating and stirring up the illiterate Islamic masses. Those dumb enough to worship fake gods and prophets.
