Considering Sir Elton John’s principles, I doubt seriously, that he would have performed, were the article’s author at all truthful. He certainly doesn’t need the money. OTOH, he performs for audiences without knowing their proclivities, other than applause, screaming, and adoration. Didn’t hear any booing at the one I attended.
