It's wedding bells for Rush Limbaugh for the fourth time.
The conservative firebrand, 59, exchanged vows with Kathryn Rogers a blond bombshell half his age in a lavish Hawaiian-themed wedding bash headlined by none-other-than Sir Elton John Saturday in Florida.
It's an odd pairing considering El Rushbo's history of anti-gay commentary on his conservative radio show and the openly gay "Tiny Dancer" singer's longtime commitment to gay rights.
The Palm Beach Post reported the British superstar will pocket $1 million for playing the wedding reception at the posh Breakers Hotel

SD had far and above some of the greatest guitarist of the age playing with them, including Knoppler and Skunk Baxter.
Their jazz fusion is PHD level...just TRY playing it.
......Women do age better than most men.....
If the money spent by women to fight aging were diverted....
We would have no National Debt
Or
we could be energy independent

I tend to believe it's a distinction without a difference, that even accepting Elton John's view dilutes the meaning of marriage to the point of destroying its traditional essence. The battle to maintain a meaningful distinction appears utterly lost at this point.
And it's not as if Rush Limbaugh's serial childless marriages have served as a model of traditional marriage either. Traditional marriage posits a man and a woman committed to one another in a lifelong relationship for bearing and rearing children. For whatever reasons, Limbaugh's marriages have not fulfilled that basic criteria.
All in all, there is nothing really odd about Elton John performing at Limbaugh's wedding. Judging by their words and conduct over the years, Elton John and Rush Limbaugh appear to agree on the issue of marriage more than they disagree.
There's nothing hypocritical about it at all. Some things in life are not at all about politics. Musical talent tends to be one of those things.
There are a lot of musicians I enjoy listening to, and I'm not at all concerned with their politics.
To quote Indiana Jones, “It ain’t the years, it’s the mileage!” [And the potholes in the road of Life... :-) ]
I have been know to accuse Mrs BwanaNdege of keeping a baseball bat under the bed and beating me in my sleep... I didn’t look like this when she got me 39 years ago, so it it MUST be her fault, right?
While Kathryn is not as wealthy as Rush, I think she is financially comfortable. They both run in circles that usually do not include Wal-Mart greeters.
For druggies like you, a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Obviously, you are in a VERY, VERY small minority with your idiotic opinion - I suggest returning to DU!<P.
Good-bye - you are the winkest link! LOL!!!
Perhaps Rush picked her because he now wants children, who knows.
Same here. I remember a 'Rush Room' in Sacramento that served a pretty decent roast beef sandwich.
We Conservatives welcome Elton John, because we see him as a great performer and singer. The Left hates Limbaugh and it steamed at Elton John, because THEY see him as a “gay” man, and demand he act based upon group identity politics. Hence, more proof that the true bigotry is on the Left.
LOL! While she does look a little bit older than 33, she is an attractive woman. I am positive Rush would not have given her the time of day if she were not attractive.
Why can't RUSH like him? He is a singer, nothing more. I think his stuff is on the cheesy side, but he is popular with Boomers like Rush.
isn’t she lovely.................?
In the snatch or down the hatch....
Well I don't listen to Rush all of the time I really have never, never gotten that he was anti-gay per se (his view seems to be mainstream BTW for most christians), However, he has had plenty to say about the radical gay agenda. He also takes attempt to keep things civil and uses satire to make his points. He does lambast Barney Frank, and he rightfully deserves it and being gay is who he is.
Crocodile Rock is prominent in my DJ play list.
