There are some things I don´t like about her, but realistically speaking, any Republican would be better than Boxer. At least that person would give us numerical leverage, and I think that Fiorina´s actual positions in general would tend to the conservative (I don´t think she´s as liberal as McCain, for example).
I don´t live in CA now, but I did live there for a number of years, and I think she´s probably the best bet. DeVore may be “purer,” but I´m not sure he´s selling on a wider scale.
