All the polls have virtually the same results. Personally I would like to see DeVore win. Reality says there's no way that is going to happen. He would have to double his support in three days and that's not realistic.

Fiorina is a far better choice than Campbell or Boxer.

Although I like Chuck Devore and have some distrust of Carly Fiorina, I hope that conservates support her if she wins the primary. She will be a large improvement over Barbara Boxer.

That was 2 years ago.

I am a native here of California.
Not even Reagan could win in CA today.

DeVore isn’t going to win and the best person
is Fiorina and can beat Boxer.

I like Campbell, then DeVore, and finally Fiorina. But this is a strange contest. My friends and associates are leaning towards Fiorina, only because in their minds she has the best chance of defeating Boxer. Boxer is such a wretched, despicable creature that many will vote for the candidate who can beat her. I've asked several of these people if the Republican Primary was the general election and they were voting for only the Republican Candidates and Boxer was out of the picture (a pleasant thought) it would be neck and neck between Campbell and DeVore. Those voting for Fiorina think that women are much more likely to vote for a woman against Boxer than a man and that seems to be Fiorina’s strongest appeal, her chance of beating Boxer. So hated is Boxer...

The CEOs are “in charge”, as far as it goes. One reason they get away with being such idiots, imo, is that the playing field is level. Corporate culture (again, I’m talking about big companies) is the same everywhere, hence they all suffer from the same diseases.

Campbell is pro gay marriage, and too many far left views.

Exactly, I agree with you.

The main thing is to get Boxer out of the Senate
and Fiorina has the best chance

You are right but the Carpenter doesn't know it. Remember it's not what we think here on FR, it's what the general public perceives. We here on FR are a very tiny minority. Yes most of us if we had our choice would go for DeVore. But many think he has the least chance of beating Boxer. So there you have it. It's the age old problem that comes up again and again. Do you vote for the candidate you like the most or the one who you think will have the best chance of defeating the wretched opponent (Boxer).

Boxer’s name brings forth profanity whenever her name is mentioned in CA along with Pelosi and Feinstein. They’re despised. All three exhibit pure arrogance and a disregard for their Constituents and a lack of caring about their country. It’s power, power, power, and damn anything else.

But this is California and we much consider the California electorate. Campbell will be only one of 100 in the Senate. He won't be able to much about gay marriage in the Senate position. That's not going to be an issue for the US Senate so it won't matter. Tom Campbell has no left wing views that I'm aware of. You will need to enlighten me on this. He is a solid conservative particularly on economic and budget issue. That's whats going to be important in the Senate. He would never have voted for the Health Care bill. He's against Cap & Trade and the Stimulus. He's pro military.

Yes, now you have it. From a political standpoint, California is equivalent to a third world country. We have so many here now who are takers rather than makers. It will take nothing short of a major miracle for the state to even survive. Demographics is destiny and California's destiny is to join the third world. That's the mentality of so many of the people. I'm planning my escape right now. It's a sinking ship. Demographics is destiny.

Campbell supports abortion rights and gay marriage

Campbell has refused to sign an anti-tax pledge from the group Americans for Tax Reform, and dodges questions about whether he would have supported President George W. Bush’s 2001 tax cuts.

Campbell is currently on the defensive after it was found out that Sami Al-Arian, a convicted leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group, donated $1,300 to his 2000 Senate campaign.

In 2002, Campbell wrote a letter in defense of Al-Arian after he was fired from his job as a professor at the University of South Florida because of the investigation into his ties to terrorism

Weird how all the GOP can think about is who has the best chance of winning, all the while ignoring the damage that another rino will do the cause of liberty. Perhaps the real question ought to be who has the best chance of going to DC and stopping the scourge of corruption. IMHO- another feminist affirmative action dyke ain’t the way to go!

Lets not run any one, just let Boxer back in. We Must not
want to win.

Your argument is lost as DeVore has a low %.
Is in 3rd place. Isn’t going to win the primary.

and California has far more democrats than republicans
for the general election.

I am a native here over 60 years. worked in Reagans campaign for gov.

Wishing doesn’t make it so.
You have to face the world of reality

From the two graphs, it seems many of DeVore’s voters believe Fiorina’s chance is better than his in the general election.

“IMHO- another feminist affirmative action dyke ain’t the way to go!”

Supporting your apparent candidate Devore is one thing, perhaps even admirable; BUT remarks such as above which are undocumented, insulting, and patently false is something else. Your emotions are removing you from the realms of reality.

It’s easy for all of us to be extremely angry with the current administration and Congress in Washington. That anger should not distract or warp our minds about other candidates who are out to stop the socialism.

The media is trying to make happen what they want to happen. The election in November is not about Boxer, it’s about the policies of Obama which she has supported 100%. Only a candidate who is opposed to those policies and knows why can defeat her. That’s why Chuck DeVore is the best person to run against her. If Fiorina wins the nomination, the election will be about her mismanagement of HP, the outsourcing of jobs, and sale of technology to Iran and Boxer will come off looking like a patriot. Fiorina is the worst of the three up against Boxer.

Dude, I want real conservatives, too. But do you realize how stupid what you wrote really sounds?

OF COURSE, WE WANT TO WIN!

Politics is not philosophy. Support the person running who most closely supports your viewpoint. Sometimes, the support will be weak, but it's damned better than letting the opposition win.

Sheesh. This stuff seems simple to me.

so you are saying you’d rather have boxer in there because her business savvy is better than fiorina?
