Although he had already been presented before the media, the National Police made Dutch citizen Joran van der Sloot march past (again) when the Interior Minister, Octavio Salazar, held a press conference. In an eventful presentation, and in the company of the Chief of the Main Directorate of the Police, Miguel Noble, Salazar avoided giving details of the investigation.
The unusual event was crowned when the presumed murderer of Stephany Flores was shown before journalists for the third time, which generated disorder in the Interior Department headquarters.
The police minister and authorities refused to respond to the questions that the journalists tried to ask them.
But you're right, ours are a bit more.....shall we say.......less conspicuous. At least our cops and prosecutors TRY to make is look like they are not trying to humiliate the person. They just happened to stop the white van in front of the gathered throng of reporters and cameramen to escort the handcuffed individual there through the courthouse door.....that's all.
Anyone know why google doesn’t think we ought to go to Reihl World View?
Try the link, and see what google says.
“In effect, the failure to effect timely arrest is ERIC HOLDER’s fault, no one else.”
Then if that’s the case, why hasn’t the Fumbling Bungling Idiots said as much?
A-a-a-a-n-n-n-d-d-d-d-d the reason for that.......is b/c civil libertarians would be all over L/E------the perp would even get off scot-free, and be compensated, for having his figgin' "civil rights" trampled.
BTW, the only recent US incident of the perp being set apart for humiliation was swindler Alan Stanford---who got videoed in handcuffs and orange jumpsuit walking to jail---b/c he had the audacity to go on TV and lacerate L/E for his troubles.
I heard him say her eye was missing. I was watching that night.
Thanks.
Then if thats the case, why hasnt the Fumbling Bungling Idiots said as much?”
Actually, Joran would have been very fortunate to be arrested for extortion over here as opposed to facing a murder charge in Peru.
He’ll probably get away this murder too.
Uh.. not in Peru.
Do you know who it was who’s daughter he killed...
Wonder what mommy and daddy will say about this murder charge?
I did not know his father had died.
“Well, Daddy is six feet under...”
Wow! I don’t recall hearing that over-indulgent daddy died.
