WHITTIER - Rep. Linda Sanchez said Thursday that comments she made about Arizona's immigration law were misconstrued.
Conservative radio talk show hosts and Internet bloggers around the country spent Thursday criticizing Sanchez's statement that she believes white supremacist groups were behind the Arizona law, which takes effect July 29.
"I never said that everyone who supports the Arizona law is a racist or white supremacist," she said in an e-mail statement.

No, she wasn’t miscon-screwed. She said it and now she’s trying to back off. Oh no, you don’t get off that easy. A public apology followed by resignation is the first step towards Redemption.
