Ugh, I don’t envy you. Moving sucks. Especially in the summertime...yuck!

I’ve been rendered mute by this illness I had over the weekend! Laryngitis BIG TIME! My kids are amused.

Gov. Chris Christie is doing great so far! I hope he keeps it up!

Stu was saying yesterday that they need to call it “common sense porn” instead of “Chris Christie porn”. I think he might be right!

I'll be watching for sure tonight. Do you want us to comment after the show? It's hard to be objective when you are pulling for someone to do well...but I'll give it a try.

Oh I know! He’s a guy who just flat out don’t care what they think of him, he’s gonna tell it like it is!

I heard that yesterday! ‘common sense porn’.
But that would be an oxymoron, wouldn’t it?
Because ‘common sense’ would say: “Dear God, people! Get you clothes back on and behave like civil human beings!”
; )

Sorry you were ill hill Jill. Now that you are better, can we tease you relentlessly about having laryngitis or is it too soon?

It should be good, but an adjustment. We’ll be moving from suburbia to a more rural area in a different state.

I just figured out this woman is ranting about BO’R. She is talking like I feel. O’Reillly is a big government drone.

LOL!
I may be mute, but my fingers still work!
(and that comment can work for both typed word and just visual! *nudge-nudge, wink-wink*.)

To me, it seemed like BO’R shifted to the left after the 2008 election. He finally seems to be coming back a little bit. For a while there, I was thinking that maybe he was doing it on purpose to counterbalance Beck & Hannity. Now I’m not so sure.

“...to a more rural area.”

There will be an adjustment-but I bet by this time next year, you’ll love it!

I hate that American Community Survey. I think we got that thing about 7(?) months ago. Then we got hit with the census in March.

We were chuckling at some of the house listings. One of them said “And only 2 miles to the closest grocery store!” LOL!

I think his attempts to be “fair” and unbiased and play the devil’s advocate all the time has gone to his head. He’s ridiculously apologetic about the Bozo administration.
I was cracking up about Laura’s remarks to him about Kool-Aid last nite.

I've lived in city, burbs and rural. It's hard to pick which I like better.

Ever lived in the rural area before or have relatives there? Knowing the folks is essential. Once you are known around town there is no better life...it's like an extended family, which has advantages and disadvantages, obviously. The ability to have large gardens or a small farm may be a great asset soon if the economy gets worse.

Only 2 miles???!!! Jeez, ya shoulda jumped on it!

It's 20 miles to our nearest “real” grocery store. One with fresh produce and such.
(I don't count mine, because it's more like a convenience store.)
