Unless you mean watching racing on TV, nope. :) But I’ve got a three-weekend stretch where I’m at the track every weekend!
This coming weekend, I’m working the Sonoma Historics at Sears Point. I get paid for that one; I have a part-time gig there as a flagger. It isn’t a lot but it helps pay for all the SCCA events I work as a volunteer.
Next weekend is one of those said volunteer SCCA events at Laguna Seca; it’s one of our club events. And the weekend after that is NASCAR at Sears Point.
Still working on getting myself into shape for driver school next spring! I haven’t lost enough weight that anyone would notice, but I have dropped 4 pounds over the last month.

Anchorage plane crash victims stable, doctor says

PORTLAND, Ore. — An Oregon doctor says three family members injured in a plane crash in Anchorage, Alaska, are in stable condition and face long, painful recoveries.
Dr. Nick Eshraghi said today that Preston Cavner, his wife, Stacie, and their 2-year-old son, Hudson, are sedated and on respirators. They are at Legacy Emanuel Hospital.
They were in a plane that Preston Cavner was flying when it crashed Tuesday soon after takeoff. It burst into flames in a business district busy with rush-hour traffic. Passers-by pulled the victims from the plane.
Another passenger, 16-year-old Rachel Zientak, is being treated at the Harborview Burn Center in Seattle.
The Cavners’ 4-year-old son, Myles, died.

Hello! We’ve got the baby in bed and have a few minutes to set around. It’s 12 or 13 hours later in Indonesia - getting on lunchtime tomorrow. I wish Anoreth would move on to someplace nicer.

It's been sad the past few years to see the green(?) "T" replacing the old red "R" atop the old Rainier Brewery by I-5 in Seattle.WHAT?!
I'm a native Washingtonian, who now lives in Oregon, (Bellevue Snob, dontcha know), NO MORE RAINIER on I-5??!!, what's up with that??
Is Rainier out of business??!
I enjoyed those Rainier commercials for years! And their beer!

Plausible Deniability
June 4, 2010
Answering media charges of scandal and impropriety, the guilty politician responded with the plea, I have no recollection of those events. It was yet another attempt of a public figure to apply a strategy called plausible deniability. This is when individuals try to create a personal safety net for themselves by seeking to convince others that they had no knowledge of the events in question. Someone else gets blamed and becomes the scapegoat for the guilty persons wrongs.
Sometimes Christians have their own kind of plausible deniability. We claim ignorance of our wrong behavior, rationalize, or blame othersbut God knows the truth. The Bible tells us: Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart (1 Sam. 16:7). This is true whether the heart is pure or if its a corrupt heart robed in false claims of innocence. We may fool others who see us only on the outside, but God sees the reality of our heartswhether good or bad.
It is wise, therefore, to humbly confess our faults to the Lord. He desires that we admit the truth (Ps. 51:6). The only way to escape the sin and restore our fellowship with God is to acknowledge and confess it to Him (vv.3-4).
Dear Lord, be merciful to me;
My sin has grieved Your heart;
And strengthen my resolve, O Lord,
From evil to depart. D. De Haan
We may successfully fool others, but God knows our hearts.
Read: Psalm 51:1-10
The Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
Eternal Father, Strong to Save
Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in peace! We who remain hold you in high honor. Rest, fallen brother, in this sacred precinct; We who remain keep this place sacred. Rest, fallen brother, among these, your comrades; We who remain keep the watch. Rest, fallen brother, amid these who heeded the Nations call; We who remain press the fight forward in your name. Rest, fallen brother, lay down thy burden; We who remain have taken up the torch. Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in eternal peace!
