The NRA is worthless anymore.

I've been thinking the same thing the last few years. Looking at some of the salaries being paid to people who then run off and release books which further fattens their wallets. They've also been willing to negotiate. When the membership expires, I don't think there will be a renewal this year. This just cements the icing on the cake.

Thanks for the update. When McCain lost/loses the older folks (as you mentioned) then we know he is in real trouble.

McCain the rat needs to go. McCain-Feingold gave us Dem Congress 2006/2008 - plus Obama.

You are so right, and if you knew the people who vote in AZ Republican primaries you wouldn’t have gotten your hopes up so high.

So will the Guns of America group endorse JC Hayworth.....or will it subserviently defer to the NRA?

I dumped the NRA a couple years ago as I could see minute trending in the wrong direction. I will watch to see if GOA rises to the occasion in this critical Senate race.

I live in AZ, and so does my kids and their spouses, my mother and my brother. We all detest McCain and would vote for a rattlesnake against him.

Alas, you are not the majority in AZ. And McPain can safely ignore you.

Yes, they pulled this crap when Coburn ran for the senate. The NRA endorsed his Dem opponent, or at least refused to take sides (can’t remember which exactly). We did not renew our membership and went with Gun Owners of America instead.
