“It might hurt both. Remember, Rubio had some kind of scandal about allegedly abusing his GOP credit card.”

No, Crist tried making an issue of Rubio’s credit card use but there was no abuse.

That story was like 5 months ago and nothing came of it. The charges come from the office of Charlie Crist.

You are the only one in this thread advancing a phony scandal that was brought to light by Crist’s own office and advanced by the left-winged media. That phony scandal was 5 months ago. Since then, Rubio has been kicking Crist in the polls and Crist blubbered like an effeminate jerk and left the party.

Greer also used his credit card for Crist who didn’t want a credit card in his name. Seems his wife charged her trip to Europe on one of the credit cards — not sure if was Greer’s or one of Charlie’s aides who always used their cards for Charlie who is now saying he is lonely as all his Republican friends have abandoned poor old Charlie! :)

You can take your accusation against me and stuff it. If you paid attention to my posts you would realize how much I hate Crist. I hope Rubio wins, but assuming that everything he did related to his GOP expenses amounted to honest mistakes, if close ties between Rubio and Greer get in the news, that could hurt Rubio. We know that the Greer scandal will almost certainly hurt Crist.

That phony scandal was 5 months ago.

You are probably right that if only the GOP credit card expenses were in question, Rubio should be able to brush that off, but we really don't know where the Greer investigation will lead. And remember that J D Hayworth was cleared but still lost the election because of associations with Abramoff.

The trouble is, we don’t know where this new Greer scandal will lead. If it makes Rubio look bad, and I hope it doesn’t, I think the questions that came up earlier about Rubio’s GOP credit card will be in the news again.

I know I'm right.  Google is your friend.
