Try the God’s honest truth. Why is it so difficult to believe that this toxic material makes people ill? BP is filing restraining orders against the hospitals that are treating people sickened by this stuff, forbidding them from releasing any details about the illnesses.
http://edition.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/05/31/oil.spill.order/index.html?hpt=T1 They are hoping to minimize both legal liability and potential criminal charges.

And why must it always be the little guy, the working stiff, who is immediately suspected of telling lies, getting bribes, or playing politics? Why isn’t it the President of the corporation, the guy that has the most to lose?

Here's why. First, it's a normal American, probably white. And to make matters worse he's a fisherman, raping the ocean bottom for helpless shrimp just trying to live thier lives. Now, had it been some green hippies trying to monitor turtle egg laying habitat you'd have a stories, but never forget, this fisherman got what they deserved.

(that's how the media see's it, not me)

Amen! If you or I dumped so much as 1 gallon of oil in the water the EPA would be all over us like white on rice.

There is more than enough BLAME to go all around, and reaches all the way up to the U.S. President, who seems to always be on vacation somewhere.

Is BP at fault? Maybe. Maybe it was some part they purchased from so other company which broke down. Who knows. Problem is: IT HAPPENED.

If there is any sickness related to this, (as some will now want to contribute to the chemicals being used to TRY/ATTEMPT to stop this oil flow), to continually BLAME BP seems to me ridiculous.

They are doing all they can to stop this/use any method feasible, face the consqeuences later. JUST STOP IT BY ANY MEANS is ok by me.

Similiar to when a Dr. 40 yrs ago gave my daughter steriods, in order to control her breathing (asthma, and dieing), she could not breath. I questioned him on the steriods as to what they would do later to her. HIS WISE WORDS WERE, WE DO WHAT WE NEED TO DO NOW, and worry later about what MAY HAPPEN, the key words are DO IT NOW, and MAY HAPPEN. She's still alive and doing well. Worried for nothing.

If they try everything possible, PEOPLE WILL SQUAK. If they don't do something, PEOPLE WILL SQUAK.

How can they win. Let's give them credit for TRYING, and since they are more expert than we, lets trust them. It will be stopped, there is no doubt in my mind. Watching the underwater pics. I am very impressed with the technology and types of equipment that are being used. WOW.
