Central Washington town besieged by gang violence

Royal City, a town with a population less than 2,000, has had its sixth drive-by shooting this year. A 10-year-old boy sleeping in his bed is the latest victim.

Royal City Police Chief Darin Smith says there have been six drive by shootings within city limits this year, that’s as many as all of last year. Chief Smith says the shootings are getting more blatant and are happening in the middle of the day.

Mere membership in a gang should get 10 years minimum, regardless of their legal status. While in prison, gang members should have all tattoos forcibly removed, and to keep order, they should be castrated and lobotimized if they get out of line. If they kill anyone, they should be executed by public hanging. Any illegals that survive the hard time should be deported back to their country of origin after they have DNA taken from them, and implanted with an RFID chip that would immediately alert authorities if they re-enter the country.

Gang problem solved. Sorry, lefties: 'cruel and unusual punishment' refers only to human beings. Rabid animals like gang members need to be treated as such.

In no way do I want to minimize the trauma of this boy getting hit in the head by a bullet but here is my 2 cents worth....

Perhaps the good folks of Royal City will demand that their cops start cleaning up their crime problem instead of trying so hard to be the biggest speed trap in the state. In the interest of disclosure, yes, I did get caught going past Royal City on the way to Pullman. Royal City isn’t even on the main road and they still drop the speed limit from 65 to 60 and nail anyone going over 60 even though it is a wide open “country” road. I found out later it is a HUGE speed trap.

Like I said, perhaps the good folks of Royal City will demand their police resources are spent catching the real bad guys and not folks like me doing 61 in a 60.....Sheesh, I feel better now!!!

I refuse to lump poor people into that category.

The people who moved here from Chicago were too lazy to get jobs, and in too much of a hurry for their free housing (Apparently, there’s a wait-list in Chicago, but here in Iowa, no such wait). Iowa even ADVERTISED in Chicago.

The welfare queens come, bringing their troubled offspring, and even more troublesome gangsta boyfriends.

The latest outrage? $1 bus rides from Chicago to Iowa City.

Really, who’s going to take advantage of that particular program? Hint: Not city-folk interested in farming!

Whenever I see a report like this I go into “My Locale” and check what local FR’s in that state are posting...And this isn’t even on their radar ...Much of the comments are about environmental concerns which is OK

Why is this town having such a problem ? Most FR’s I inculded, suspect it has something to do with illegals but without local reports all that remains are suspicions.

Actually if this is being caused by bands of “La Raza” invaders who have been taught since childhood that they are in a part of old Mexico therefore local laws don’t apply to them .I submit that attitude contributes greatly to the “illegal problema.”

How far away are we from those invaders turn from wishing to turn those areas over into a new Mexican state to begin actually doing so.

150 miles isn’t that far when you consider that illegals would have had to travel 2,300 miles just to get to Seattle. I’m not saying it’s definately illegals but I think it is a possibility.( I do know that if they were white, it would have appeared prominently in the story)

PBS and the Playboy Bunny head (both Playboy Surenos tags) are being painted everywhere in the Kent area of King County. Right in my own neighborhood, fences and mail boxes have become their banner. Dozens and dozen of these tags just within a short walk from my house. And this is a pretty nice area of Kent. I am hoping these were left by snot-nosed kids from the Middle School a few blocks away, but still you just don't know. Even if it was kids, it bothers me they think gang tags are cool.

Shootings involving Hispanics are a regular event in eastern and central Washington, and the immigration status of both victims and perpetrators are just as regularly not revealed. Given the activist approach of the MSM, even now the local media, it’s safe to assume they’re all or nearly all illegals. The local press has gotten so bad, sometimes the ethnicity of armed and dangerous criminals who are wanted is withhheld. From the media, we learn nothing and must question everything.
