YORBA LINDA, CA Author and political strategist Dick Morris today announced his endorsement of U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina.
It is my pleasure to endorse Carly Fiorina in the Republican Senate primary on June 8. While I have a high regard for Carlys record and position on issues, my endorsement is based mainly on the fact that I believe she would be the best candidate to achieve victory for Republicans in November over Senator Boxer.
The conventional wisdom that a moderate does better than a conservative in a California statewide election does not, in my opinion, hold true for this year. The idea that a moderate is preferable largely stems from his position on social issues, such as abortion. But, in this time of economic crisis, I believe pocketbook issues overwhelm social concerns. On these issues, I believe Carly as a true conservative has the advantage. Not only has she signed the No Tax Pledge, unlike Congressman Campbell, but she supports the Arizona law on immigration and is far more opposed to the tax-and-spend policies of the Obama administration, which threaten to make America into the new Greece.

Highest I’ve seen is 19%, within striking distance to Carly. Of course, the coronation crowd is working overtime to see that Precious’ bad choice wins instead.
David Frum was on the Michael Medved show today. He endorsed that baby-killing socialist Tom Campbell.
You mean he did not endorse “abortion is settled law” Fiorina? I’m surprised.
A dead squirrel would seem to be preferable in the guv’s race there.
I think Palin waited as long as she could in California and decided there was no way DeVore could win. But don't worry. There is no way that Palin will have the clout or following of Duncan Hunter, Sr.
And if her clout carries McCain over a real conservative, you’ll be tickled pink, huh bro?
In races in which voters feel they don't have a choice, this guy always picks up a few write-in votes.
The last two times Palin has been in AZ, she has ignored McCain but has used her time to back Jan Brewer.
I will never agree with anyone 100% of the time, but Palin is a 95%er. Name another Republican that has backed Jan Brewer the way Palin has.
There have been scads of republicans backing Brewer. And even a few that have never shilled for amnesty, like Precious has.
